The first ViX retail store on the West Coast began as a pop-up shop at the Fashion Island mall in Newport Beach. I created an initial floor plan and interior design concept for the space, with two goals: speed of installation and cost-effectiveness. I worked with a contractor to turn this vision into a reality, using repurposed furniture and fixtures from a now-closed showroom. Finally, I helped with visual merchandising to prepare the store for opening.
